Maintenance

General and Routine Maintenance

Pre ride inspection: Clean the inner fork tubes, check for visible damage, and make sure the forks are properly aligned.

Cleaning your bike: Wash the frame using mild soap and water. Avoid using high pressure washers around bearings and electrical components. Clean the chain and drivetrain with a degreaser, then lubricate them thoroughly.

Drive belt inspection (where applicable): Check the belt tension every 300 miles (approximately 480 km) or every 3 months. If the belt begins to track off centre or shows edge wear, adjust its alignment.

Tyres and Brakes

Tyres: Check tyre pressure before every ride. Inspect tyre wear every 800 km and replace tyres every 3,000 to 5,000 km, depending on riding conditions.

Brakes: Test both brake levers before every ride. Inspect the brake pads regularly and replace them once the friction material is less than 2 mm thick.

The E Ride Pro SE and SS 2.5 use mineral oil brakes, while the E Ride Pro SS 3.0 and SR use DOT 4 brake fluid. Never mix these fluids.

Battery

Charging and storage: If the battery will not be used for more than 30 days, fully charge it before storage, keep it in a cool, dry place, and recharge it every 60 days to prevent damage. Do not disassemble the battery.

General care: Avoid direct contact between the battery terminals and metal objects. Under normal use, the battery is designed to last approximately 500 to 600 charge cycles before noticeable capacity loss.

Advanced Maintenance

Front fork: Disassemble the fork, clean and lubricate all internal components, inspect them for wear or damage, and replace worn bushings when necessary. Forks that have been in use for more than one year should be serviced at least twice a year.

Annual service: We recommend a complete annual inspection including replacement of worn components, a full brake system overhaul, electrical system testing, and a thorough inspection of the frame for cracks or structural damage.
